I am a life-time outdoor wild woman! I spent my childhood roaming around the pastures and woods around my home at one with the dirt. I sprouted a passion for photography at age 10 when handed my dad's 35mm Minolta. In high school I started to develop seasonal depression and anxiety, though it took me years to realize it. I lost touch with both photography and the outdoors until about three years ago, when I bought my first DSLR. I began to branch further and further out for pictures which has led me to connect with myself, the earth, and many wonderful people.
I am also immoderately obsessed with picking up rocks on the beach, learning about mushrooms and edible plants, and attempting to photograph the elusive (for me!) great egret!
